Big Brother 19 houseguest Christmas Abbott isn’t just expecting the unexpected, she’s expecting. The 36-year-old CrossFit athlete, who came in third place on the CBS reality competition this past summer, has revealed that she is pregnant.

Christmas and the baby’s father, fellow CrossFit athlete Benjamin Bunn, revealed the news on Instagram. With a copy of What to Expect When You’re Expecting in hand, she announced that she is 9 weeks pregnant, putting the due date sometime around early October, just after the end of Big Brother 20 this summer.
Well, I’ve always expected the unexpected in my life and this year is no different! In January I discovered I am actually EXPECTING and a whole new life would be laid out before me. After a challenging 2017 year it is turning out that 2018 is the best year of my life to date. I have my health, family, friends, passion, and a new addition to my tribe.. Ben & I couldn’t be happier with this news and are over the moon excited about this wild, new journey. I’m currently 9 weeks and our #babybunny has a very active heartbeat! Christmas made it to the Final 3 on Big Brother 19, though she is best remembered for seriously injuring her foot and requiring surgery. As she posted, 2017 was a very challenging year for her, but 2018 is turning out to be the best year of her life.

Baby fever seems to be sweeping across a lot of notable HGs from Big Brother. Aaryn from season 15 and Caleb Reynolds from season 16 both had babies in December and Jessie Godderz, aka Mr. Pec-Tacular from seasons 10 and 11, revealed that he just had a son in January 2018. Also, season 10 winner Dan Gheesling is expecting his second child while season 13 couple Daniele Donato and Dominic Briones are expecting their first.
Elsewhere, Christmas’ fellow season 19 HG Jason Dent (who was partially responsible for her broken foot) is expecting his second child any day now, a pregnancy that was revealed to him by his wife when he was in the Big Brother 19 house over the summer.
