Celebrity Big Brother
has featured two shocking live evictions, but the nominations have been
fairly standard. First a woman won HoH and nominated two men. Then a
man won HoH and nominated two women. So what is the plan for the third
eviction?SPOILER WARNING: This article contains Celebrity Big Brother spoilers.
Ariadna Gutierrez is the new HoH.She nominated James Maslow and Shannon Elizabeth.
Despite talk of trying to backdoor Shannon, Ariadna decided with the direct approach, nominating her two targets to ensure that one gets evicted. She views them as threats solely because of their competition prowess, likely stemming from that first HoH competition. Is Thee Any Way Shannon Can Save Herself?>>>
Shannon is obviously the top target, but if she wins the Power of Veto, James will be the one to go. I'd bet that if the PoV is used, Mark is the likeliest candidate to be used as a pawn.
The foursome of Ariadna, Brandi, Ross and Marissa is clearly in total control of this game now, making all of the decisions and sticking together. They are friendly with Metta and Mark and wary of Omarosa, but if there's one tight, true alliance at this point, it's these four.Is Mark Playing the Best Game?>>>
But, of course, there may be cracks. Ross originally pitched the idea of nominating Omarosa and Metta to backdoor Shannon, and Ariadna and Brandi have definitely noticed that he is being wishy-washy and trying to play all sides. He definitely is, as both James and Mark seem to trust him the most out of anyone. Given the pace of this game so far, I wouldn't be surprised if a turn against Ross happens sooner rather than later.
Will Shannon be able to win the Power of Veto and save herself? Or more impressively, could she somehow sway enough votes to take out James, even if she stays on the block? That's the real drama, but with these direct nominations, it's 99.9 percent certain that either Shannon or James will be evicted on Friday (you always have to leave a little room for the unexpected).
