One of them is Metta World Peace (aka Ron Artest), is a former NBA player originally from Queens, New York, now living in Los Angeles. He's actually the second-youngest male HG in the cast.

Who Is Metta?

Metta was an NBA player who is best known for playing with the Los Angeles Lakers, the team that helped him win an NBA Championship in 2010. He is now a basketball coach. He may be more notoriously known for a brawl between the Pistons and Pacers that led to him getting suspended for nearly 90 games.

Reality Competition History

Metta was a contestant on season 13 of Dancing with the Stars, though he was the first person eliminated along with his partner, Peta Murgatroyd. Peta did much better as the professional partner to James Maslow, who is also in the Celebrity Big Brother house.

Metta on Celebrity Big Brother

Metta admits that he's never seen Big Brother and he didn't want to know anything about the game before going in, which doesn't sound like a very promising strategy. He simply hopes that implementing Lakers coach Phil Jackson's teaching methods will help him win.

How do you think Metta will do on Celebrity Big Brother?
