'Dancing with the Stars' Reveals NFL Player Terrell Owens as Cheryl Burke's Partner
Tuesday, September 05, 2017
Dancing with the Stars pro Cheryl Burke will be back for her 20th season of competition. On Good Morning America, she revealed that her new partner is former NFL player Terrell Owens.
T.O. is 43 years old and was known in the NFL for his showy touchdown dances. He's yet another wide receiver, like last year's third place finisher Calvin Johnson.
And Cheryl is no stranger to NFL players. She won back in season 3 with Emmitt Smith and then finished fourth when she paired with him again for the All-Stars season. She also finished in fourth place with another wide receiver, Chad Ochocinco.
Cheryl Burke was a regular pro early on, winning seasons 2 and 3, but in the past five seasons she's been largely absent from the show, only returning one year ago with controversial Olympian Ryan Lochte.
So far, based on various spoilers and leaks, almost the entire line-up has been revealed. Here are the pairs we know so far.
Property Brothers star Drew Scott and Emma Slater
Disney star Jordan Fisher and Lindsay Arnold
Malcolm in the Middle star Frankie Muniz and Witney Carson
NBA star Derek Fisher and Sharna Burgess
98 Degrees singer Nick Lachey and Peta Murgatroyd
TV host Vanessa Lachey and Maksim Chmerkovskiy
Former Paralympic athlete Victoria Arlen and Val Chmerkovskiy
YouTube violinist Lindsey Stirling and Mark Ballas
Shark Tank's Barbara Corcoran and Keo Motsepe
WWE diva Nikki Bella and Artem Chigvintsev
Pretty Little Liars star Sasha Pieterse and Gleb Savchenko
That leaves first-time pro Alan Bersten as the only dancer whose partner has not yet leaked prior to the official cast reveal Wednesday, September 6 on Good Morning America.
Dancing with the Stars season 25 premieres Monday, September 18 at 8/7c on ABC.
