Caitlyn Jenner's new memoir, The Secrets of My Life, hasn't hit the shelves yet but it's already making plenty of noise, specifically among the Kardashians. The book, which was written during Jenner's first years of transition from strapping athlete to Caitlyn, reflects on her inner conflict and personal struggles through the years.
"They don't know that underneath the business suit I am wearing panties and a bra," Jenner writes in The Secrets of My Life, according to the excerpt released by People
. "I have [also] stolen makeup...not only from Kris but the rest of K-troop, because - trust me on this - there is more makeup per user in our home than any in history. I have bought makeup how-to-books. I keep the books, along with my meager collection of clothing, in a small closet with a lock in back of my own closet."
"They don't know that when I look into the mirror I see something entirely different, a body I loathe: a beard that is noticeable no matter how close the shave, a penis that is useless except for pissing in the woods," says Jenner, who underwent gender confirmation surgery in January.
Not everyone is looking forward to The Secrets of My Life, which will be officially released on April 25. Jenner's ex-wife, Kris Jenner, is furious over the new memoir and she's venting out on Sunday's episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. In a sneak peek, the Kardashian matriarch tells her daughters Kim and Khloe Kardashian how upset she is about the book.
"I read it and basically the only nice thing she had to say was that I was great socially at a party one time," Kris says in the preview.
"But yet, he stayed married to you the longest. So, it doesn't make sense," says Kim.
"None of it makes sense," says Kris. "Everything she says is all made up. Why does everything have to be that Kris is such a bitch and an a--hole?"
The former Olympian, who transitioned from male to female in 2015, also claims in the book that Kris knew about her gender identity crisis when they were married. However, Kris says that's not true.
"I was curious and said, 'What the hell is going on?' She said, 'You just would never understand.' And then, all through the book, 'Kris knew. Kris knew before I even made love to her.' I'm like, 'What?'" Kris recalls. "I really tried hard to improve the relationship and spend a little bit of time, thinking maybe there's something here that I'm not seeing. I've done nothing but open up my home and my heart to a person who doesn't give a s--t. So, I'm done."
