Who’s Returning to Psych: The Movie?

Details about the upcoming Psych: The Movie were revealed during Comic Con on Friday, including some of its returning characters. Jimmi Simpson will be reprising his role as Mary Lightly in the movie for his third appearance since his character was killed off on the show. On the other hand, Timothy Omundson, also known as Carlton Lassiter, will only appear in one scene. “Lassiter is a part of the movie. We wish he was a bigger part of the movie. Circumstantially, that did not get to happen,” executive producer Chris Henze told TV Guide at San Diego Comic-Con. “The way that we’re looking at it is he’s there — he’s thought about, he’s talked about, he appears in the movie. There’s a bigger spot on the table for him for the next one, and we’re excited for that.”

The movie, which also features previously announced guest stars like Zachary Levi, Jazmyn Simon, Ralph Macchio and WWE star Charlotte Flair, picks up three years after the series finale and follows the group as they come together during the holidays after a mystery assailant targets one of their own.
