Carly Waddell and Evan Bass are eager to start the next chapter of their lives. Earlier this year, the only surviving couple from the third season of Bachelor in Paradise hinted that they were planning to tie the knot this year and now it sounds like plans are taking shape.
"We are so close to setting a wedding date," Carly revealed to E! News
. "I think we're going to have a wedding date in like two weeks. We're very close to having that nailed down. It's going to be this year."
Carly first competed for Chris Soules on The Bachelor season 19 before she joined the second season of Bachelor in Paradise, where she got her heart broken by Kirk DeWindt. Evan, on the other hand, failed to capture JoJo Fletcher's heart on The Bachelorette season 12. Later the erectile dysfunction specialist and singer got together on the third season of Bachelor in Paradise, where they also got engaged. At present, the pair is living together in Nashville, Tennessee with Bass' three sons, Ensley, Liam and Nathan.
Not surprisingly, the couple's wedding guests will include people from the Bachelor franchise. Wells Adams will serve as a groomsman while Jade Tolbert and Juelia Kinney will be bridesmaids. Also making the guest list are Vinny Ventiera, Shawn Booth, Kaitlyn Bristowe, Luke Pell and Whitney Bischoff.
Asked whether their big day will be televised, Carly teased that "Everything's a possibility!"
"We'll let you know in a week or two!" added Evan.
Meanwhile, the Bachelor in Paradise couple can't help but gush about the progress in their relationship, pointing out that they have learned so much from each other and that, even though their relationship is not perfect, things are consistently good.
"I think that relationship wise, we're definitely more in love than we ever were before. I think we fall more for each other every day which is fun," Carly revealed. "It was always good, [but] it's just that as we got to know each other better and better. We fell for each other even harder. We've never had a bad spell. It's always been consistently good."
"I hate how people think there's some kind of fairy tale in front of the cameras...We're just living a normal life, you know? We talk step-by-step, and we work through. I think that our communication and our ability to have conversations...that's been the key to working on our relationship and working towards marriage," Evan explained.
Did you predict Carly and Evan would last this long? Are you excited for their big day?
