Arie Luyendyk Jr. previously claimed that he wants to go back to his normal life following his stint on The Bachelor
and has no plans to pursue a showbiz career but that doesn't mean he's not looking forward to tie the knot with fiancee Lauren Burnham on TV.
Multiple sources reveal to E! News
that Luyendyk and Burnham are determined to have a TV wedding, which is expected to happen "before the end of the year, if not sooner." They are reportedly in the "planning stages" of their nuptials and are "researching several venues" for the big day.
"They are still waiting to get confirmation from ABC for the TV special," the source revealed, "and are heavily pushing for this... Nothing has been locked in yet until they get the green light from ABC."
"Lauren and Arie are moving fast. They want everything to happen quickly and show the world how real their love is," another insider revealed.
The news of the Bachelor couple's plan to wed on TV comes just one month after they got engaged during the After the Final Rose special, which aired the day after The Bachelor season 22 finale in which Luyendyk called off his engagement with his chosen woman, Becca Kufrin. It also comes on the heels of reports that Burnham has already uprooted her life to move in with Luyendyk in his home in Arizona.
Luyendyk and Burnham are "settling into more of a normal, real life situation together," the source revealed. "They have visited both sides of their families and have been spending majority of their time in Arizona. They are both attached at the hip and inseparable. They are completely in love and are really excited about their future."
"They are really, really happy to be together and be able to be public about their relationship," another source shared.
