While Corinne Olympios is claiming to be a "victim" in the Bachelor in Paradise scandal, some stars from the reality dating franchise are coming to DeMario Jackson's defense. Raven Gates and Jasmine Goode, who both competed for Nick Viall on The Bachelor season 21, insist they would never have turned a blind eye if they thought Olympios was in a compromising situation.

"I was taken back with Corinne's statement that she's the victim. That may be the role she plays on the show, but it's a role," Goode told The Daily Mail

"I don't believe she was a victim or traumatized," she said, adding that Olympios' statement "doesn't even sound like her" and "it sounds like someone wrote it for her."

"As a woman, I would have been the first person to step in if I thought she was being taken advantage of in the pool with DeMario," the ex Golden State Warriors dancer continued.  "She even said hi to me when I walked by them."

Goode even recalled that Olympios was "having a good time" with the rest of the cast, including DeMario, the day after the incident and didn't complain about it.  "Even the day after, she was hanging out with DeMario and some other people in the hot tub. I honestly thought they were going to become a couple," she said. "She never, ever said one thing negative about DeMario. And she was never in danger, at least I never witnessed anything bad happening to her."

Goode's statements seem to coincide with Gates' account of the incident. According to Radar Online, the season 21 runner-up took to Facebook to share what she witnessed between Olympios and DeMario.

"As an eyewitness myself, a friend of Corinne's, and as a woman I would have stepped in if she needed me," Gates wrote. "I am SICK to my stomach for the pain DeMario is going through."

"I love Corinne but she was VERY COHERENT that day," Gates continued.

"After this incident she proceeded to make out with 3 other men, straddling them, and jumping on them," Gates revealed. "I witnessed this myself. Along with her saying that her boyfriend was going to be mad at her."

Production for the fourth season of Bachelor in Paradise was halted following an incident of sexual misconduct reportedly took place on the set. Warner Bros. and host Chris Harrison have already released a statement regarding the suspension of filming though other details have been left out including the names of the people involved. However, multiple sources have already leaked that Jackson and Olympios are the two contestants in question. Both notorious "villains" allegedly got drunk and got hot and heavy by the pool, prompting a third party to file a complaint against production for misconduct over the incident she witnessed between Jackson and Olympios. There are also reports suggesting that Olympios blacked out during the hook up and doesn't remember anything, prompting the former Bachelor contestant to lawyer up.
