It’s the Flash! It’s the Arrow! It’s a…crossover double wedding?

Just like Ikea furniture, WestAllen requires multiple attempts at assembly. With three first kisses and two proposals under their belt, it comes as no surprise that Iris (Candice Patton) and Barry’s (Grant Gustin) nuptials will require a do-over. What is shocking, however, is that the Flash icons won’t be the only Arrowverse couple to tie the knot during November’s four-way crossover.

As key art for the Supergirl/Arrow/Flash/Legends of Tomorrow event promised, Central City’s childhood pals will take their romance to the next level as “Crisis on Earth X” unfolds. Bouquets, white dresses, and a church full of guests are the order of the day, but so is a healthy dose of superhero chaos. Instead of saying “I Do” with the usual pomp and circumstance, WestAllen will wind up exchanging rings on the waterfront…right alongside Arrow‘s Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards).

Is this quite how the fans – or the characters, for that matter – imagined their big day? Probably not. It’s certainly not a Pinterest worthy masterpiece or a stately mayoral affair, but it will put smiles on our heroes’ faces and rings on their fingers. As for those of you waiting to see the brides decked out in the gossamer threads of a fairy-tale gown, you have and you will. Felicity popped on her white dress back in season 4, and Iris will have her chance to stun before disaster strikes.
