The Real Housewives of New York City
star Luann de Lesseps is doing great after seeking treatment in rehab for alcohol abuse, according to her co-star Bethenny Frankel. During Tuesday's episode of Watch What Happens Live
, the Skinnygirl mogul shared how de Lesseps is doing right now and praised her co-star for the way she's coping with her situation.
"Luann's great," Frankel told host Andy Cohen. "Luann is the most resilient, strong woman I've ever met, maybe. You know, she hit the wall going 90. The way you handle something when something bad happens is really character building and it shows a lot about a person."
"She's taking care of herself. She's taking it seriously. She's not delusional about where she is," she added. "She's sort of on a path and she's in a good place. She's very honest about exactly where she is and what happened and about what her goals are."
The former countess was arrested on Christmas Eve after allegedly trespassing in a room at The Colony Hotel with an unidentified man. She pleaded not guilty to charges on battery on an officer, disorderly intoxication and resisting arrest with violence and corruption by threat against a public servant. Following her arrest, she checked into a facility to seek treatment.
Last month, de Lesseps announced on Twitter that she's already back home spending time with friends and family. She has also reportedly resumed filming season 10 of The Real Housewives of New York City.
