On the heels of reports surrounding Peggy Sulahian’s exit on The Real Housewives of Orange County, another cast member reportedly didn’t get invited back for season 13. According to Radar, Lydia McLaughlin, who returned last season after leaving the show in 2013 to focus on her family, also got fired from the Bravo series.

Is Peggy Sulahian Leaving The Real Housewives of Orange County?>>>

“Lydia came back, but she wasn’t interesting,” the insider explained. “Producers mainly wanted her to bring Tamra [Judge] and Vicki [Gunvalson] back together, and it was mission accomplished.”

“And, unfortunately for her, she was aligned more with Peggy so she’s on the chopping block.”

Aside from Peggy and Lydia, producers were also considering letting go of Meghan King Edmonds but, according to the insider, her pregnancy saved her from getting the ax.

“They were not planning on bringing Meghan back,” said the source, “But she sprung the pregnancy news on them at the reunion. So she’s kind of forcing them to bring her back even though they didn’t want to.”

Meanwhile, there are speculations about bringing in veteran couple Gretchen Rossi and Slade Smiley back to the fold.

“They’re strongly considering bringing Gretchen back next season,” added the source. “They need an antagonist to create some drama.”
