The Screen Actors Guild honors the best performances of the year in television and film, and this year that mostly means Netflix. The streaming service picked up 19 TV nominations, including two each for Best Drama and Comedy Ensembles. It also nearly swept the female acting categories, with Netflix shows picking up 4 out of the 5 nominations in both Drama and Comedy Actress. In fact, except for the Limited Series categories, Netflix has at least two nominees in every TV category.

The strong showing is anchored by Stranger Things and the '80s female wrestling comedy GLOW, both of which scored four nominations. On the Drama side, Stranger Things will compete against Game of Thrones, The Handmaid's Tale, This Is Us and The Crown, the exact same line-up as the Golden Globes. Netflix's Ozark picked up a pair of acting nominations while Robin Wright scored a nomination for House of Cards amid that show's controversy with Kevin Spacey.

2018 Golden Globe Nominations>>>

On the Comedy side, GLOW will compete against Orange Isa the New Black (which is going for its fourth win) as well as Curb Your Enthusiasm, Veep and Black-ish. This marks the first time that Modern Family is not nominated at all. In the acting races, three-time former winner Sean Hayes is back for the revival of Will and Grace.

In the Limited Series categories, Big Little Lies dominated with four nominations, three in the Actress category (the two female leads from Feud: Bette and Joan make that a two-show race).

2018 Critics' Choice Award Nominations>>>

In the Stunt category, Game of Thrones will try to win its seventh award in a row while The Walking Dead tries to finally win for its sixth nomination. In addition, GLOW became the first-ever comedy nominated in the Stunt category.

As for films, Get Out was a huge surprise, getting nominations for both the Ensemble and an individual Lead Actor nomination for star Daniel Kaluuya. Early Oscar frontrunners like Call Me by Your Name, Dunkirk, The Shape of Water and The Post all underperformed, with the SAG Awards shockingly not nominating Meryl Streep for the latter.

The 24th SAG Awards will air Sunday, January 21 at 8/7c on TNT and TBS, hosted by Kristen Bell. Here is the complete list of nominees.
