Get ready to meet Alcide's family. True Blood has cast Terminator 2 star Robert Patrick as Alcide's father, Jackson, in the current season's ninth episode. Jackson will appear in flashbacks that feature teenage Alcide and Debbie. The story will also involve Eric, as Alcide's father is the reason the Herveaux's owe him.

Patrick is best known for playing the T-1000 in Terminator 2: Judgment Day. He's no stranger to HBO, as he had a recurring role on The Sopranos. He's also had major roles on The Unit and The X-Files, and he will be a series regular this fall in ABC's new drama Last Resort.

Robert Patrick's True Blood episode is scheduled for Sunday, August 5 at 9pm on HBO.
